A friend of mine has an astra shotgun, and I can't anything about them in any price guides. It is a 20gauge double barrel with internal hammers, and a nice ingraved action, which is satinless or nickle. It has bought sometime in the 80's, but wasn't sure if it was new then or not. Great looking and shooting gun, just would like to know value?

The only Astra shotguns that I have ever seen are the Model 650 and Model 750, and they are both O/U's. The 650 had double triggers, and the 750 has a single selective trigger.

If the shotgun you friend has is one of these, then I may be able to get you into the ballpark.

If it is a side-by-side, then I am going have to punt as I have never seen or had one of them in my hands at a gun show.

    Best Regards

It is a sideXside, with double triggers. All the marking on it are all astra, includeding where it was made at in spain.

1022man; Evening Sir. Was contacted by a brother that wanted to know something about The ASTRA Side by Side...There were Two made...The Model 811 in 10 Gauge Magnum and the Model 805 that came in Variopus Gauges...The 811 is a bit beefier than the 805 and commands about $75.00 more that the 805...The 805 you have and discribed is Worth $350.00..
I might mention that the ASTRA 650 Series in Over/Under and the 750 Series are Nice Guns...reasonably Priced...and the Model ID-13 Is a Primo Shotgun also...A friend in Belguim lets me use One of His ID-13's when we're out chasing Bunnies up by the Ardennes...Never a problem...even in a good Rain the Ejectors still throw the Hulls half way back to Liege...Anyway...I digress...Hope that somewhere in this TOME I've answered your Questions....Best...
