These are selling for under $500.00. Are they any good?
Any problems?

They allow me to keep my HK91s for my
    grandkids college education.
    IMHO...I like them.

I haven't heard anything bad about them at all and you can not build one cheaper for what you can buy one already built for!

I'm tempted to buy one even though I have an HK SR9T and a SLG95 (one of the first clones) ... just cause they are cheap and fun to shoot! And to top it off, preban 20 round mags can be had for $10-$12 each ... when I bought mine $40ea was a steal!

Well I wish they had been this price a couple years ago!

Cetmes give you the feel of an HK for a lot less money. They will require a lot of grease removal and perhaps some tinkering, but they are a lot of gun for the money. Also, the .308 is a lot more powerful than the .223 or 7.62x39. Take hearing protection when you go to shoot one, they are loud!

I had one and liked it OK. I sold it to try an L1A1. I liked the L1A1 better...smoother cycling when firing and easier to clean.

How about used (?) mags for less than $5 from TAPCO. When I ordered mine I figured they would be junk. Wrong, they were as new still packed in goo. Like Ref44, I still like my l1a1 better but the CETME is an affordable fun gun to shoot.
