Elcan scope question?

I can buy a C7 Elcan "Canadian" Military scope for $60. BUT!!! The scope mounting base was removed to sale to public. Can I purchase this scope base from any retailer in the US and do you have any idea of its cost?

I would buy it, I'm sure you can find a base somewhere later, but don't pass the opportunity up.

You might look in shotgun news for any surplus companies or any companies that might handle the Elcan, and see if they can get you a base.
