This question is in reguards to the muzzle break on my FR-8. I would like to remove it and I was wondering if the m-96 muzzle cap for the swedish mauser would fit on the FR-8 barrell.
If not, where can I find one? Thanks.

Found out that the thread cap for the FN49 will fit. Gun Parts has it item no. 51110 $9.15 www.e-gunparts.com The thread pitch is 14x1. You can measure yourself and find out. I know nothing about hardware, but I guess this means 14 threads to the inch?? If you have questions that can't be answered here about the FR-8 You might try www.milsurpshooter.net

If it's a metric thread read it as 14mm dia x 1 thread per mm pitch
It's always diameter first, thread pitch second

Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.

Thanks tailgunner, I read it M14x1. This probably denotes metric as it is European.

110, I just reread my post and need to clarify. The pitch mentioned is that of the 96 thread. You can use this as a check on the FR8.

110, I may have read the info on the FN49 incorrectly. Don't want you to waste money so I'll give you the quote I read. "...unscrew the flash hider & get an end cap like on the FN49, they'll screw right on..." I'll keep looking for a proper FR8 end cap.

I have read that there is a brake made for the Cetme that will work on the FR8. Been thinking about ordering one myself.
