Im thinking of purchasing a Walther P99 in 40s+w and would like to get some feedback as to how accurate and reliable this weapon is. Also what kind of price to expect. I was told by a local dealer 549+ tax and shipping but believe this is too high. I see them on GB for $499.00 quite frequently. any feedback is appreciated.

I've had one for two months now, shoots great and is very accurate. The trigger takes some getting used to, even with the firing pin cocked the trigger is in the forward, double action position, but with a lighter pull. The mag release is a little strange also, I prefer the push button, not the lever the Walther uses.
It breaks down easily and is a breeze to clean. I like the grips better than the Sigs. The HK's are great also, would have purchased one but decided to save the extra couple of hundred bucks.
My was bought on GB for $499, got it in a week.
