Are there any barrels that do not have to be cleaned? many thanks

    Off hand I can think of 2 kinds of barrels that don't need to be cleaned,
    1 is a BB gun
    And the other is one that has never been, or ever will be, fired.


    Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.

    I once found a Ruger .44 magnum that I had fired, then forgotten to clean, then stored away for 27 years. When I found it again it was in like new condition, not a bit of rust and the cylinders and barrel were perfectly clear after cleaning.
    That said I always clean mine now.
