I have a CETME with Hesse rec. in a parts gun. After a 60rd. break in period in which it jammed a few times the next 300rd went without a hitch. Some say don't buy the Hesse, others say it's fine for the price ($400- $475) the FAL should be about the same. I believe Century Arms is putting these together and distributing them to Freedom Arms and others. AIM surplus may also have some. It is general concensus that the Imbel rec. is the best, but you will also pay a premium. If you can get one for $400-$500 I think you'll be happy. The Hesse is a cast, heat treated, American made rec. on which surplus parts are built. Imbel, I believe, is milled with the same surplus parts.
