    Nope, not really.

I think that price is about standard for the Sigpro. On Gunbroker I have seen em sell for $380 brand new in box. Damn. I shoulda bought it....

Keep in mind you're also going to have some more fees. You're looking at $500 for the gun, $25 in s/h and $20-$25 in FFL fees. Total is about $550. Check your local stores first, see what they can offer you. Some places, like pawn shops, will special order it for you and charge you only dealer cost +10%.

Price is about average, but I STRONGLY suggest shooting one BEFORE you buy if you haven't already. I was going to buy one and rented first. The recoil was a bit sharp for a .40 due to the polymer frame.

the 499 price was a local store, i would have tax on that but no shipping. I was quoted one on line for 475.00. 380 would be real good. I know a guy who has his ffl but dont like asking him prices all the time. He quoted me a new glock22 for 410.00 but there so damn ugly. Im really considering walther P99 but there is so little reviews on this weapon im unclear as to how good they are for accuracy and reliability. I also really like the hk usp compact but not the price. Is the extra 200 clams worth it??? Im not sure. I have a Kimber Classic SS 45acp Target but is too bulky for concealed carry unless im in a sport jacket. Sig always seems to have good feedback, im kind of surprised to hear negative. Does anyone else have any input? Thanks

The traditional Sig guns are great. I have to scratch my head as to why I would want a plastic Sig. If you want plastic, get a Glock. You shouldn't buy a polymer gun on looks, but a time proven working design. If you are buying a concealed carry gun, the only time anyone should see it is when things get ugly and then the ugly Glock becomes a thing of great beauty.
