I dont have any experience with Hi-Viz sights. But I bought the sight paint from Brownells and touched up both of my MKIIs,and it works very well.

Have them on my S&W 66, and they do make a real easy to see the front sight. I think they'd be terrific on a MkII.

The HiViz sights are for the front only and are $24.95. I also found Williams FireSights front and rear for $42. Have any of you tried either one on their Ruger MKII and did you or did you not like it? Is any gunsmithing involved?

I know it is not the rifle you are asking about, but I put Firesights
on my Marlin 444P and I absolutely love it. I only have the front sight, but it is amazing how well it shows up, especially in low light like dawn/dusk. I tagged out last season that I was able to hunt with it. I say, if you aren't scoping it, use the fiber optics.
I almost put a red dot on the gun, but this was kind of the same without worrying about the battery going out.
