FAL Scope mounting

I have a Tapco 3rd generation mount for my FAL that replaces the dust cover. I also have a 4-12 x 40MM scope that I want to mount. Would standard weaver style High rings give me enough clearance so that the scope does not contact the rear sight. I was looking in MidSouth shooters supply at a set of Burris High QD rings. I want to be able to pop the scope off and use the iron sights, but I don't want see thru rings. Quick detach rings would be easier than switching the dust covers back and forth. Any thoughts?
Thanks

I'd be scanning the vaious web sights and making phone calls at this point! Have you tried A.O. Sight Systems, and if not them, how about DSArms in Barrington Il.?
