Can anyone help me i.d. a single shot "Sears" 12 gauge? IT says Sears Robuck &Co. made in Brazil on the right side of the barrel. Left side says 2 3/4 Full, model number 282.510820.

The bottom of the reciever has what I believe to be the serial number 310252.

It has an unusual lock that with a large release built into the front of the trigger guard. Just wondering the D.O.M. and who built it for sears, any other info would be apprciated.

Thanks in advace.

    Hello Dave...

There is scant little information available for Retail Store brand firearms, but it appears that a company by the name of "Boito" made your shotgun. There is no available information concerning DOM (and it really makes little difference unless it was manufactured before Jan 1st, 1899). http://www.e-gunparts.com/crossref.asp

A bit more research finds that this is the complete name of the company - E.R.Amantino & Cia. Ltda. - BOITO
