In the last week I ran across a Remington "Europa" over/under 12 gauge, the gundealer, who I have known for a very long time, and consider him very knowledgeable said that only 510 were made. I don't have the serial number but it had very high grade wood, a nickel reciever with nice blued barrels. And it uses Remchokes, which I thought was kind of strange. Does anyone know who made this gun, or any other info on it? I'm thinking about buying it, but I would buy it to be a shooter, He wants $1100 for it. Thanks in advance.

nickel receivers chip with time. sounds like a gun you should buy and put it your safe, not shoot. only having 510 made will make it collectible years from now. take your 1100 dollars and get a 3200 and youll be glad you did.

i don't know about the gun you are talking about but i agree with bobski i have a remington 3200 1 of 1000 and i love it. best shooting gun i have ever shot. I would also invest in glass bedding to prevent cracking in the stock. your local gunsmith can do the glass bedding.
