Im new so bear with me.I thought i was resorceful but i can not find out any real info on this spacific gun.I got it from a pawn shop, the owner only said.I dont know anything about it except its been on the shelf to long and you can take it for the pawn $255. I liked the gun alot and may have been taken. But a year later here I am.
The gun..ou 12 gauge. Barrel 27 9/16 ribed.top right says steel vickers gauge 12 chamber 3".Left says The spesco corp Atlanta Georgia. when you break the gun there is a solid piece of steel that comes out the left side and it self cocks.Im sure there is a name for this. Fogive me but im just now excersising my right to bare arms and not familiar with most terms.Underneith right, says Armi Fausti S.Marcheno .. Italy.Underneith left says Mod. Brescia Mat. 17359.Inside the trigger guard is an F followed by a very small 3.guard is blued with some nice engraving. The gun has 2 triggers.Inlaid on the bottem of the stock there is what looks to be a brass crest about 1"x3/4".The butt end is plastic and in a circle reads ARMI FAUSTI STEFANO MARCHENO V.T. [BS] with a deer in the middle and F.S below the deer. Thanks so much...

Couldn't find anything on a Italian Manufacturer by the name of Armi Fausti/S. Marcheno.

Spesco Corp. of Atlanta GA, was listed as importing inexpensive German, Reck SM-11 handguns, as well as other European firearms, probably in the 1960's & 70's.

Your best bet would be to post on this forum, it's shotgun specific.

The manufacturer Fausti Stefano is alive and well and I believe imports its guns through an American firm called Traditions, Inc. You should be able to find them through a net search or find Fausti Stefano through the shotgunworld website. The Fausti guns are machine made and fairly roughly finished but work just as well as any inexpensive O/U. Decent gun for the money you paid if it's in good condition.

www.traditionsfirearms.com is the link you want. I have a Fausti Upland II in 20ga and the fit and finish rival my Brownings. $225 for the SxS is a steal!

Trap is correct. You got a steal. I have been looking at these and have seen them for $700-$800.

I really apreciate everyones help.I have gone to the traditions websight. But my prob. or question is this gun was imported through the Atlanta co.not traditions is this wright? if so this may not be the the same gun.AS I stated Im no gun expert but this gun is very tight and the craftmanship seemes to be excelent.on a scale from 1-10 on the shape its in has to be an 8.by the way why does the metal slide come out the side is this good?

Gimemign, if the "slide" you are referring to comes out of the left side of the reciever frame at a right angle to the barrels below the opening lever, it is probably the locking bolt for a Greener-type crosslock, which is very common on Italian shotguns of the 1950s to 1980s period. If it is fitted well, it makes for a very strong action. Beretta SXSs and some Zoli O/Us of the period had these Greener-type actions, too. It's a copy or adaptation of an old British design; it's a good thing, not something to worry about. If there's something else popping out of the side of the action, I'd have a gunsmith take a peak!

2520WCF, It is a Greener type and thats probably what he's seeing. Thats a good thing! Some of these SxS's blue book for more than a $1,000 and the cheapest one runs about $800.
