I bought one of these honeys the other day, for plinking and cheap thrills. I know that these can be picky, so I was wondering what do you all recommend
a. for plinking
b. for defense (I know, it's "only" a .22, but still, what you would you all suggest (there's other artilery at home[;)]))

cheapest ammo that fuctions properly for plinking and defense, because if it wont fuction properly it wont be a cheap thrill plinking, and only can be thown for defense

it's not the type of gun you have in the heat of a battle that counts, only if you have enough ammo for it, lets face it, a gun without ammo is only as good as a base ball bat!!

For plinking I suggest Remington Golden Bullets in the bulk pack, nice and cheap. They would also not be bad for defense since they are high velocity hp. But Stingers are always the best for defense.
