Opinions on Tikka O/U shotgun

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the Tikka O/U shotgun. Been looking at one for an all around field gun. Currently have a fixed choke Citori but it is bulkier than I care for and limits my ability to go from waterfowl to upland game with much efficiency. The Tikka looks like decent piece and is in my price range.

No experience with the Tikka...but have you checked out the Baikal IZH27? check them out at www.eaacorp.com I've been shooting one for four years, and love it. I also have a Browning Superposed and Winchester 101 and love them, but with the interchangeable chokes, the Baikal comes out more often than the other two. My two cents worth.

I have looked at the Baikal and have a friend who bought one for his son. The problem I have with them is I have yet to see one with a straight rib.I've looked at a couple dozen and the rib on every one looked like it had been driven over with a truck before it was attached. They seem to work OK but I find it very distracting. I also find that the drop, comb and cast on many of the lower priced guns does not fit me. Its a moot point for me now anyway because I found a red label for only a couple of bucks more.
