I sold a pistol to a man two states over,I recieved his payment and FFl today,he had scratched threw the address on the FFL and hand printed another,on the back he wrote instructions to send the pistol to the hand written address.is this not illegal, plus he sent a check and had it dated 2005,I'm sending him back his check and FFL but is it not very illegal to change the address on your FFL lic.

10-4 you are correct. this is not a legal ffl copy.

I WOULD RATHER BE DUCK HUNTING.

Refuse the FFL and return the check. Inform the buyer that you will only ship to the address on an FFL and that since the "error" with his check you are asking for a US Postal Money order to elimate the possibility of further delays.

Assuming you sold through an auction you may end up w/ a negative f'bak but you can state "bad FFL and bum check" in your rebuttal and be sure to leave appropriate f'bak on the buyer.
