Winchester model 250 .22 LR

Hi-
I have a question concerning the Winchester model 250 .22LR lever action guns produced in the 60s and early 70s. The blue book I have lists them as having "swivels". However, I have had three of them in the past and I don't remember any of them as having swivels. All of the guns I have owned have been of the deluxe version with impressed checkering, etc. Are these guns supposed to have sling swivels? Some do and some don't? Which ones? I'm confused.

Thanks for your help!!!
Terry

    Hello Terry...

I did some looking through my reference material, and it states that the 200 Series Deluxe rifles were announced in 1965 and have the following features: High-gloss Monte Carlo selected walnut stocks with fluted combs; cheek pieces; basket weave checkering; white spacers between butt plate and stock; sling swivels on all models except the slide action (270 and 275). All of the non Deluxe Model 200 Series rifles are shown with checkering though... are you sure that you really had "Deluxe" versions?
