Thanks 22, I was wondering what they might be worth. I have a chance to buy one but I know little about them. I believe its 7.62x25. John

I got mine from SOG a couple years ago for $79 sold it for $115
so I broke even with the $20 to my FFL for transfer Shipping and NCIC check. I think they are around a $100 now.
I didn't care for the DA trigger pull the grip didn't feel good in my small hands. So it's gone
    Yes they are 32 ACP

No offense meant, believe your getting your Czech pistols mixed up.

    As 22WRF noted, the CZ 70 is/was a smaller holster pistol, ( EX Czech Police ) chambered for the .32 Auto/ 7.65 x 17mm Cartridge.

The VZ 52 Pistol ( Ex Czech Army ) is a much larger holster pistol chambered for the 7.62 x 25mm/.30 Mauser Cartridge.

The only way your going to get the 7.62 x 25mm to chamber in a CZ70 is with a 8 lb sledge hammer.

Cosmetic changes were made to the CZ50 in 1970, when it became the CZ70. Functionally, the 2 models are identical.

I've seen a couple sell for $125 recently. Although not well finished, they are built solid. And, you can't get anything decent for less money.

Just an alternative suggestion here but have you thought about either the PA64 or Makarov! The 9x18 cartridge packs a heck of a lot more wallop (slightly more than a 380 even). Having owned a Makarov, PA64, CZ50 and CZ70 I can tell you that while the CZ's are not junk, the other two are a bit better gun! As is often the case in life you get what you pay for and the extra $50 is well spent on the slightly bigger, better guns I feel!
