I have the opportunity to purchase a Nikon 3.5-10x50 scope which is not the Monarch or Buckmaster model. It is made in Japan, not the Philipines. Excellent clairity and condition is 100%. I have searched here and elsewhere but can't find a list of values on the eairler models. In the late 80's-mid 90's I had a matte finished Nikon in 3x9x40 and it was excellent. It was mounted on an A-Bolt .270 which I later sold to my couisn, suffered from sellers remorse big time. Any info on the value will help me decide on purchase....thanks.

Nikon 3.5-10x50 gloss, made in Japan @ 100%.

I THINK that the older Nikons are the same quality as the present monarch series. As for a good price???????
