Springfield shotgun

The Springfield Arms shotgun that i have has the patent date of April 20,1915 and i know that it has one full choke barrel and one mod. choke barrel.Thats what i was told by my father about the barrels anyway.

    How could a person find out what year a springfield 511 shotgun S/S was made and where to get a owners manual any help would be greatly apperciated.

    To Bert H.,
    It is a Springfield Arms 12Ga. double barrel patented April 20,1915 and it was handed down to me from my fatrher when he died.I don't have any info on the gun and can't find any on it.All serial numbers match on the entire gun.

    If you are looking for a book-price, You will have to be more specific on the condition...Is it a model 311? or 511? Single trigger or double?...On the right hand side of the reciever on MY Springfield double 20, the model no. is stamped{5100}...
