"MFR: Buffalo ??? Guild Gun??

Hey Ya'll,
I saw what looked like an old HR or NEF break-open rifle today.
It looks pretty old, like 1970's maybe. Anyway, it had 'buffalo' stamped in the left side plate and something else. It had a 30-30 barrell and a 20 gau barrell. Can anyone tell me more about it?
Is it worth $ 125? Do they shoot fairly strait?
Thanks a bunch,
JOE DODD

Personally I would not buy it but I think that you should tell me where it is.....

Seriously that sounds like a very good price if it is not an old rust bucket. I also have it in .223 and it is a pretty decent shooter. IMO you cant go wrong for the price.

If it's 70's old, it's not the saem rifle as todays. Todays model being of better quality. That being said, it's still a great deal. The barrels are selling on fleabay at over $100. With the 30/30 barrel it is an easy 100 yard deer gun. The 30/30 is good out till about 150yards. A good 4x scope would be perfect for it.

I stand corrected on the MFR. It is actually made by "Buffalo"--probably early-mid 70's. It is stamped as made in PA.

No other proofs ,etc other than cartridge.

Has anyone heard of these guys? My gun book doesn't list them, nor did google turn anything up.
Is is possibly a 'guild gun' from a small mfr that never made it big??
    Thanks
