Federal Ordnance never made Sniper Rifles for the U.S. military. They were one of the 3 firms located in South El Monte CA who specialized in making replicas of U.S. military rifles, out of surplus and aftermarket parts. They were in business from the mid 60's to the early 90's. Perhaps somebody has fixed up one of Fed Ord's M 1's, with a authentic U.S. sniper scope and mount?
