S & W Top Break DOM

Can anyone tell me when my revolver was made? It is a Top Break double action Smith and Wesson in .38 S&W with the serial number 4502XX.

    Per the S/N provided it is a 4th Model, mfg. between 1895 and 1909. And, considering the range for that period being 322701 thru 539000, I'd guess the year at 1906 or 1907.

    The only way to pin things down closer is to contact S&W. Factory letters currently run $35, but they may give you the DOM over the phone for free.
