I am looking at a BROWNING CITORI, Ruger Red Label, and Winchester 101 but willing to change my mind.

Whichever fits you best... If they fit equally, then the most inexpensive one - use the leftover for practice ammo.

I do not have any available in my area to try for fit.
I was going to buy one on gunbroker.
I was hoping to get some advise prior to committing to buy.

    Never handled a 101
Found the Dead Label to be WAY to nose heavy
Had mechanical troubles with the W'by Orian (doubling), and the attitude of the warranty dept sucked (you bought the POS, it's your problem now not ours).
Liked the Citori, loved the Citori GTI (one of the early sporting clays versions).

You can save a few bucks by looking on the "Used" rack.

I prefer Brownings myself. Win 101's are made by Miroku also. Some other O/U's to consider in that price range are the SKB, Charles Daly(older ones), and Fausti from Traditions.

i shoot trap/skeet/sporting clays with my ruger sporting clays with 30" barrels and different chokes. the automatic safety has been disabled and a better recil pad installedIMG_0600.jpgit is the one on top. the other one is a red label 20 gage full and mod that i use for upland hunting dove shooting.

I do a lot of compatition shotgun shooting and Brownings are buy far the best gun for the money. They are accurate, Reliable, And just plain shoot and feel good. You just can't go wrong with a good browning shotgun.

I have shot at almost all the shotgun ranges in Nebraska and some in kansas and south dakota. Probaly 80% of the people shoot brownings, 15% shoot beretta, 3% shoot Benelli[xx(], And the remaining 2% shoot expensive pieces of SH$$ that a good browning can out shout any day.

I just picked up a new cynergy[:p] MAN! it feels good in my hands. Can't wait to take it out shooting.

Skeet? What's wrong with the Remington 1100? If you can't do it with that you probably can't do it with anything else.
