.308 cal semi-auto, mag-fed guns out there, I can think of:
M1-A
AR-10
FAL
Are there any other semi-auto, mag-fed rifles out there than I am missing (.308)?
What are the pro's/con's of each?
Is one better than the others from a "tactical" stand-point?
Also, being primarily familiar with "AR's", until a short time ago, I didn't know anything at all about the FAL, barely that it existed. Who has good info about that weapon system and the after-market makers?
Any and all input and opinions welcome!!!
Thanks!

The adjustable gas system lets it eat and function with just about anything, even when extremely dirty and nasty. Do a google for the legend of ol' dirty.

Word to the wise on the "Ol' dirty" google search... Type in "FAL" with it or all you get is some rap guy called the Ol' Dirty Bast#$*.
Who makes "good" FAL's? Do they offer the same type of "accessorizing" as an AR?
Best fal is of course one of the $$$$ originals...
Failing that, DSA, or a good build on a DSA, DCI, or Imbel reciever, then Entreprise and Century. Avoid Vulcan/Hesse. The newer Centurys are quite nice especially the all metric kits (with the green mountain barrel as part of the US parts) and are still cheap.
Check out the DSA website.
