bullet weight limit on a revolver??

I am looking to buy a S&W 360PD and noticed it says on the barrel not to use a bullet less than 120g. WHY? I understand autos need the weight to work the slide but why a weight limit on a revolver?

The lighter bullets can back out of the case under recoil due to the reduced bearing length of the bullet. I had it happen with a Colt Agent a long time ago with light bullets with only a moderate crimp.

This is true. Also from the Smith & Wesson manual:

WARNING: Do not use magnum loadings with bullet weights of less than 120 grains, this will reduce the possibility of premature cylinder erosion.
