M14 Mounts (Vietnam Era)

Greetings: givette here. Can anyone steer me to a website that shows good, clear photos (or line drawings) that show closeups of the side-rail mount used to attach the AN/PVS-2 starlight scope used in Vietnam? All I'm getting on the web is historical background. No photos. Any help???? Thanks for your time. Joe

Joe, my AN/PVS-3 uses the same mount, but unfortunately it only came with the M-16 mount. I'll have to dig the manual out and look, but I think there's a pic of one in it. I also seem to remember a friend of mine saying he has the M-14 mount he got in a box stuff from an auction. I'll give him a call and get some pics if he still has it.
