Hi to all and thanks for all of the excellent replies i have recieved in the past.
I have a winchester mod 70 in 338 win mag with a serial number of 467xxx. The floor plate has supergrade on it, grip cap, hooded sight,butt plate, plates on the stock for a sling and seems to be in very good condition.
Questions i have. year of mfg.anything special about this piece, value ranges, best way to sell, evaluating condition? Thanks Kevin

    Kevin;
    S/N range puts it pre-64 possibly around '60-'61 mfr. Super grades bring more bucks. Look at those list here on GB. Should be $1800 and up up and away. Check out Cabela's library too.
    Post some pics and you will get an education. Welcome to the board..

    That does make my putter flutter, most where "Alaskans" that I have seen, it too would look REAL GOOD in my Winchester safe.
