Restoring 3 screw with PolyChoke brand rib?

I had asked about this on the GD forum and was told that these are attached with adhesive and easily removed.

Does anyone know about this for sure?

if i remember right try heating it with a hair drier , i think that will get it loose

I put one an a shotgun a few years back and used the adhesive that came with the rib.

They were definitely installed with a adhesive, and a heat gun should soften it enough to remove them......

Yep, definetly glued on. I had one on a Colt, I believe I inadvertantly said a Peacemaker .22, but it was on a New Frontier .22. I believe I still have the rib somewhere, I don't know why I kept it but I did.
