i have an old revolver 22 short made by roSco --called a vest pocket made in germany--imported by madison import corp. has all the eagle stampings and serial number. this was my grandfathers. i cant find anything on this gun anywhere

Your gun was imported by the George ROSe CO. (ROSCO) prior to 1968.
It was made by Rohm in Germany. The "eagles" are German proof marks found on all German guns.
They are not high quality guns and value is low.

Just to confirm: ROSCO--"Rosco Arms Co." marked on Rohm revolvers that are also marked "Vest Pocket".

I have a mid 1950s copy of the George Rose catalog. Their trade name was Rosco-as marked on their guns and knives. The RG is listed.
Perhaps in later years they marked them "Rosco Arms Co."

Later, it became the RG10. It was also made as a Thalco Plinker, Imperial Metal Products IMP, and other names. It was a pretty cheap little revolver.
