Can anyone tell me the approximate values of these?

1. Winchester Model 94 Rifle, 24" octagonal barrel. Probably refinished. Receiver has been colour case-hardened. .30-30 cal. I think it was made in 1932.

2. Canadian Commemorative Model 94 Carbine, new-in-original-box. Lever is tied with a nylon strap and has not been worked. 20" octagonal barrel.

Welcome to the forums! Well, like most Winchester commemoratives (with a few exceptions), the Canadian Centennial isn't really a "hot" seller. However, the fact that it's unfired with the box and papers does preserve its value. There's one for sale at this link for $450 with no reserve and, so far, no bidders: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=84481380

$400-$450 is the general selling range for a "new in box" model but, like anything else, you need to find the right buyer.

As far as the .30-30 is concerned, your description is far too vague to really put an estimate on it. We would need pictures to show any special features, markings, and condition. There's a big difference bewteen "refinished" and "restored" and either will have a considerable effect on value depending on the type and quality of work done.

If you don't know how to post pictures, there are instructions in this thread: http://forums.gunbroker.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=259294
