S&W rifle mount size

I have a S&W rifle, and would like to put a scope on it. what mount size does it use? Would it be the same as a remington 700, or is it a different spacing. thanks,dave

    i believe the S&w rifle were built by howa.it should use the same mount as the howa 1500.

    We have one and ddhotbot is right it is a Howa 1500 which in Leupold bases (should be in other brands as well but Leupold is what I am familiar with) are the same as the Rem 700. For matte blue two piece the part number is 50016. I have a set as well as rings if interested drop me an email through my profile.
