I would like to know an approximate value
This gun is a L461 .222 caliber It has a Bushnell Banner Wide angle scope on it with
a weaver scope
it has a beautiful wood stock on it. The gun probably hasn't had more than a couple of boxes of shells shot thru it if that.
Serial number is in the 124000 range.

thanks
tom

A friend has a sako viken he bought 25 yrs ago with the box etc. It is in 762 x39 and he says < 10 were imported. Anyone have an idea of value if he was to end up selling it? Thanks!

Need pics. Might also check out Sako Collectors Club.
Scope and mount add little if any to the barrel. May be in the $1K to 1.2 range.

    $650-$800 + scope.

Check those mounts, they should be Sako type unless someone screwed up, in which case it de-values the gun since it "may" have damaged the rifle.

    Best of luck.

Weaver made adaptor bases that slid over the sako integral dovetails with no alteration to the rifle. If the rifle has exceptional wood and near mint condition the value is around $900. Scope and bases add zero unles you really want them. If the rifle happens to be a "deluxe grade" value goes up about $200. This rifle deserves top quality glass with authentic Sako rings.
