Which rifleing is better, cut rifleing or button rifleing? Are there any benefits of one over the other?

Remington and Savage are known for being extremely accurate out of the box. Savages moreso, save for the high end Remmy's.
Remington uses cut rifling, Savage uses button. Both companies know how to make each work.

It really doesn't matter much.
Mass produced barrels are mass produced barrels whether buttoned, broached, EDMed, or hammer forged. I doubt anybody cut rifles barrels for a production line any more.
A good aftermarket barrel is a good barrel at four or five times the cost of what the factory is using. Hart buttons, Krieger cuts; both win shooting matches.
The guys I know (which, granted is actually only 3 people) use slowly cut rifling (Boots Obermayer being one of them)and their tubes are absolutlely amazing!
