BLR REPAIR

Does anyone know how to remove the receiver pins from a 1983 BLR? The have a rounded head on both sides and it's driving me nuts!!Thanks!

    AS YOU HOLD THE RIFLE THEY GO FRON LEFT TO RIGHT (LOOK CLOSELY AND YOU CAN SEE THE 'SPLINES' ON ONE END OF THEM. YOU CAN USE A STD. PIN PUNCH OR GET THE CORRECT CUPPED PUNCH FROM BRONELLS'S. NOTE THAT DISASSEMBLY BY SOME ONE NOT FAMILAR WITH REASSEMBLY IS NOT RECOMMENDED AS THE ARE A BIT.H TO REASSEMBLE AND TIME PROPERLY

    No splines, both are smooth and no movement even with the correct punch...

    "No splines, both are smooth and no movement even with the correct punch..."... the 'splines are just to 'lock' the pins in place, you may not be able to see them untill the pins are removed. the pins themselves are very tight and need a good 'whack'to stert then moving.
