Herters O/U Model S27

I have a Herters 12 ga. O/U shotgun, model S27. Does anyone know when these guns were made? It was a japanese mfg. made by Fuji. Mine is ser. no. 00124. It has a very light bulge on the bottom brl. It shoots good and I like it for hunting from a small duck boat. Any info on this gun would be appreciated.

    Prior to 1968 when catalog sales of guns stopped. I have some old Catalogs of Herter's and can look it you will send me an e-mail. I am slammed now and it would be next week at the earliest. Maybe someone will come along before then.
