Are there any differences between the difference manufacturers 12 trap loads? If not then I will just look for the best price.

Hello my suggestion would buy a box of all brands available and use a Patterning target If you really want to get serious.

It a Perazzi TM1 and it patterns them all about the same. The Winchester trap maybe a little better but they are more expensive too.

I would suggest the patterning board all over again. winchesters and remingtons are the favorites at tournaments. you might think about buying them and saving the hulls. the hulls are going for about 4 cents each on the other auction sight. many people reload for this sport. now you didnt say anything about shot charge 7/8, 1, 1&1/8 ounce. there is a feet per second speed that they can not exceed, for each shot weight. 1&1/8 is 1290, 1 is 1325. I can not remember the 7/8 speed off the top of my head.
rem and win use magnum shot in their loads. magnum shot is harder and they say more round for a truer flight. others dont use magnum shot.
go back to the paterning board. shoot 10 shots each. you need this many to even start discerning patterns with holes.

you can have the best round, and shoot it out of a gun that isnt patterned well and the shell gets the blame for bad performance.

and too, you can have a perfect gun, with cheap shells, and the gun gets the blame.

you need to test many rounds on a pattern board with your gun to find the best.

but, rule of thumb is a hull that is loaded with a 1200fps and a compression based/multi leaf wad will be tops.
