Hi; I asked on another forum, and was told to try ASK THE EXPERTS.
I bought a Taurus PT945 and it is shooting 2' high, and about 2' to the right of where the sights are set. These are fixed sights, no adjustment screws at all. My question, does anyone make adjustable sights for this weapon? Or can someone replace these?
    Thank you, Mike

Does anyone have any information , better yet experience with the Taurus PT945. I have always been partial to Colt but I've been hearing some good things about Taurus and wood be willing to consider trying one around tax refund time but would like to hear the pros and cons from anyone that has experience with this particular pistol. Any and all info appreciated.
    Thanks,Nashflash

does anyone have any expierience with these? i've owned the pt 92 and it was a great shooter, but it shot all over the damn place. never jammed or anything though. i was wondering if anyone can tell me if these are accurate at all. i'm not looking for a competion or race gun, just one that is fairly accurate at about 25 yards. i like the way they look and seem like a comfortable gun, and under 300 bucks seems like a good deal. any input will be appreciated, cody

if you're in my yard tonight, you'll be there in the morning

Gentlemen, Would someone be able to tell me if Taurus had problems with the PT945. I tried one out and all the shots were stiking very low. 3 other people tried also, but the same results. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Most manufactures provide a front sight that is taller than the standard and can be trimed down with a file to adjust the sight picture, yours is shooting high so you could correct the problem with this front sight. The rear sight should be able to be drifted to the right or left to take care of the windage. I would go to the Taurus web sight and look for the option for adjustable sights optional for your pistol and that will give you the name of an OEM setup or you may be able to order them direct from Taurus.

If you lower the front sight, I think you'd raise the point of impact.A higher rear sight would be the answer. And check your sight picture and the way you squeeze the trigger.

He needs a higher front or lower rear to lower the POI. You move the rear sight the way you want the POI to go.
