How old is my Nagant?

I have a few Nagant revolvers that are dated 1944 Tula. Can anyone tell me if they know of a way that I can determine when it was actually built?

I believe the Nagant pistols are dated as mfg. The Mosin-Nagant rifles are not necessarialy so, they are dated under the tang of the receiver. This may be your confusion.

Should be 1944. As for month, I think you might be SOL.
