Hey everyone. I just have a question for all of you. I have a Sako M995 7mm STW. I have been trying deperately to find these on the web but I can't seem to find anything. I want to sell this gun to one of my friends so i wanted to see what they sell for. Does anyone have an idea what i can get for this gun? I mean i dont want to screw my friend. If anyone has an idea please I am waiting to see what you have to say.

    Mike,
Try the folks at "www.sakocollectorsclub.com", or maybe it's just SakoCollectors.

    Polakmike,

    Welcome to the GB forums!

If you go to the top of any of the forum pages, you should see a linear list of 'buttons' on the upper right, the first of which is marked 'Home'.

This button takes you to the opening page of the Gunbroker Auctions. Scroll down on the left for the category 'bolt action rifles'. This takes you to search page where at the top right you enter the term 'Sako TRG-S', select both search features below this and hit search. You should get about 6 related rifles and the descriptors. There is some pricing information that will get you started with an approximation.

The values of the TRG-S and the M-995 have steadily risen simply due to the fact that they are no longer made and can be chambered for the much larger cartridges so heavily favored by the long range hunters and target shooters. The rifles started out at a very reasonable price and are now escalating to the overpriced.

    Best.

    stankemp,

    The proper pronunciation is 'Socko'.

However, even the most diehard use 'Sayco'...

Well, I was looking at some rifles that may be similar to that Sako 7mm STW. I found a Remington MODEL 700 CUSTOM KS MOUNTAIN and they have it in a 7mm STW. I looked at the price for a brand new one and it was 2500.. so based on that what do u think?

    Polakmike,

Did you bother to do the search as I suggested? There are 6 to use for comparison and they don't have to be 7mmSTW for a comparison.

I bought a used one in .300WM, blued, with rings, in excellent condition for $499 earlier this year.

No matter what they hang off of it or what they chamber it in; a Remington will NEVER be a Sako!

Hi, One sold on the auction side with brass and dies for $761. It had several bid, so it's not like only one person bid. I would think that give a fairly good idea of what yours may be worth!!
