I'd like some help getting a value for an old 1894. It is an octagon barrel, full length magazine chambered for 38-55 win. it has a cresent metal buttplate with no checkering on the stock or forearm. the serial number is 75574. the rifling in the barrel doesnt look too bad, not like new though. but.. it is 111 years old. there are no cracks in the wood stock and the finish seems good. any help would be appreciated, thanks a lot.

I have an Winchester 1894 (ser. # 114xxx) and would like to find out its value. It has a crescent butt, fancy checkered grip, lyman rear and front sights, takedown, full magazine, double set triggers, engraved on both sides, .30 caliber, 24" barrel. I was told it was sent back to the factory for all the extras.
    Thanks, Raymond

For what it is worth, your Model 1894 Sporting Rifle is 107-years old. It was manufactured in the middle part of the year 1900. The value will be a direct function of its graded condition. Pictures will help us determine the condition.
