Hello, I have an older Winchester model 94 30-30. Can anyone please assist me in establishing an approximate date of manufacture and an approximate value?

Thanks,

Dan

1954' 1955' approximate manufacture well used original except sling swivels which don't detract $300.00 give or take 25.00. leave as is and if it shoots strait i would hold on to it. great wood (buttsock)

Turtles my reference book puts it at 1952 issue and about $500-600 range. We need Bert here to confirm. Oh and welcome to the boards..

    Hello Dan,

OK, here is what I can tell you... Model 94 serial number 2,000,000 was assembled and presented to then President Dwight Eisenhower in the mid part of the year 1953. Your gun could be late 1952 to real early 1953. The sling swivels might be original. Best guess on the value is $350 - $400.
