Unknown Revolver

I have a revolver with no name or caliber markings on it. It has a large star with an arrow pointing straight up in it on the left side of the frame near the grip. 1938 is under the star. It is double action but has a loading gate on the right side like a single action. The grip is set back like a Cimarron "Lightning" and the grips are checkered walnut with a lanyard ring on the bottom. The chambers are counterbored on the front and when cocked the cylinder slides forward over top of the forcing cone of the barrel. It appears to be .22lr caliber. The barrel is 4 1/2 inches with fixed sights. Any help is greatly appreciated.
