I have a model 27s marlin pump rifle that is marked 25 rf on the barrel. The loading port is slightly less than 1 1/2" long. Will this gun use both long and short cartridges or just one size?

I believe that would be the 25RF long, AKA the Stevens 25 RF. Anyone else out there got better info? Check Cartridges of the world...if you do't have it post back and I'll look it up for you!
