Recommendations for CO2 pellet rifles, please

I've searched the archives of the "Ask the Experts" forum, but didn't find anything really helpful, so I decided to plague---I mean "ask"---all you more knowledgable types here for some advice, and an opinion or two if you can spare them.

I'm looking into possibly getting a CO2 pellet rifle in the hopes that it would be less jumpy/shocky than the Gamo breakbarrel I have now. That piston slamming forward really makes the sucker jump, and scoping it was a real chore, so---after asking around at the local sporting goods stores and receiving some vague answers---I decided to look into a CO2 model. The Internet gave me the usual dry-data-*-sales-pitches, but no real information on how much recoil the CO2 models have. I find the Benjamin 392 .22 caliber CO2 model to be esthetically pleasing, but could wish for more than 610 fps at optimal conditions. Here is what I'd like your feedback on:

(1) Anyone here know anything about the CO2 Benjamin 392? How quickly does the pellet speed tail off as you shoot?

(2) Would you please give me some recommendations for decent CO2-type rifles, and why you think they're good?

I know it's asking alot, but there's alot of knowledgable people here so I figure the individual burden won't be so great!

Thanks in advance, good people.
