Someone please help me Pick new sights

I have a Beretta Vertec that I love to shoot and almost always get very good groups with. However, those groups are almost always 2-3 inches low at about 12yards.
I know, believe me I know, all the possible shooter errors that could be contributing and I am far from the best shooter in the world. However, after spending lots of time on the Beretta forum and talking to other vertec shooters, I now realize what is the primary factor for my low shooting--the vertec's "drive the dots" sighting picture.
Anyway, I simply can't get the hand of it and would rather swap sights so I can shoot the vertec with a 6:00, like nearly every other pistol in the world.
So, I need to replace my current stock sights with ones that will raise the poi approximately 2 inches at about 12 yards. I would rather replace one rather than both sights and like the standard (and cheap) three white dot set-up.
Anyone have suggestions[?][?][8)]

Get some one or two inch red adhesive backed target squares and tape them at the center of your target.
For any firearm that may be used for self defense, point of aim sights
make the most sense.
If this is a target only gun then change or trim down your front blade for a six o'clock hold. Take a smooth cut file to the range and file carefully.
