[:)] Can someone provide any information about this rifle? Markings on the barrel states "Firearms International Corporation Model 1000" and on the bridge of the receiver it states "Anschultz." This is a .22 bolt action, single shot, has a hardwood stock with no butt plate (butt of rifle was made without a butt plate,) barrel length is approximately 21 inches. Any information concerning production dates, value will be apprecitated. Please have a great day! tejaswrangler [:)]

Can't find anything specific regarding your rifle in my references.

From your description it appears to be one of the early 1360 Series, Anschutz rifles that were in production as early as the 1950's.

This would coincide with the dates that Firearms International was in business, circa 1950's - 1970's.

I've found the best thing to do, when something like this comes up is to use the catalog section of the old GUN DIGEST'S as a reference. They were annuals, that gave extensive coverage to firearms that were either manufactured or imported during that specific time frame.

I have been thru Gun Digests 60-74 and Shooters Bibles for the same years and drew a blank on this one

I guess that would narrow it down to the 50's.
