M1 Garand scope mount question

I'm wanting to put a scope on one of my Garands. I'm wanting to scope it for hunting, NOT for making a fake sniper version. I also don't want to drill any mounting holes in it.

I've seen some B-Square mounts for Garands that are supposed to attach to the receiver without drilling and holes. It seems they attach somehow by removing the rear sight.

I know B-Square is a quality company, but I want the mount to be solid.

My question is does anyone have any experience with these mounts?

No scope mount for a Garand really works well except for the M1D and C mounts. And they put the scope off centre. The worst of it is that a scope will throw off the balance and you may not be able to use the clips or have proper ejection. Needless to say, I'm not a big fan of putting a scope on a rifle that was never intended to have one.
