Ive got an aluminum frame Colt revolver circa 1970 that needs some touch up on the back strap.
Birchwood Casey Aluminum black does not work well.
Any other suggestions??

If you've got a hard coat anodizing factory near you, a lot of them run small jobs every week and can do colors. You could ask to have your gun part added to a batch next time they run one and see what they would charge.
