win. model 1200 Pump

I have a model 1200 win. 12 ga. The barrel is marked 2&3/4. Therefore I can only shoot those shells. If I were to purchase a barrel for it that is capable of shooting 3 or 3&1/2 shells, would the action feed them properly? I guess the question is, is the actions the same for pumps that shoot 2 3/4 the same as the 3 or 3 1/2 inch? Thank you![;)]

    Well, its a good thought , but will not work , for several reasons , most common is extraction (ejection port?) and feeding problems ...
    Its money better spent to buy a mossberg or something ready to fire the bigger ammo...also as a thought , a lot of 'gun people' dont have anything good to say about the 1200 (1400/1500 ect.) series guns , I have worked on a few and own one , not my first choice , but not all that bad either ...Good Luck !!!!
